👉 Whether you're removing your account from an Apple or Samsung device, it's easy! We have some step-by-step guides below to help remove your account before returning your device back to us.
🔐 There are different ways to remove your account - by either doing it from the device itself or remotely for Apple devices. This article will include information on how to:
▶ Remove your iCloud account from your Apple device
▶ Remove your iCloud account remotely from the iCloud website.
▶ Remove your Samsung account from your Samsung device.
❗ Make sure to closely follow the steps below. If we receive a locked device back from you, it will delay your old rental agreement from being cancelled on time, and may roll over to a rolling 30-day agreement. Locked devices received after the final date of your old rental agreement will automatically roll over to a 30-day rolling agreement.

How to remove your iCloud account from your Apple device 🔐
👇 To remove your iCloud account from your device running iOS 10.3 or later, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Go to Settings
2️⃣ Tap on [Your Name]
3️⃣ Scroll down and tap Sign Out
4️⃣ Enter your Apple ID password when prompted
5️⃣ Tap Turn Off
❗ When you do this your phone is removed from your Find My iPhone Devices list, and your device Activation Lock is also turned off.
👇 To remove your iCloud account from your device running iOS 10.2 or earlier, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Go to Settings > iCloud > Sign Out
2️⃣ Tap Sign Out again
3️⃣ Then tap Delete from [My Device]
4️⃣ Enter your Apple ID password when prompted
5️⃣ Next go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > Sign Out
👇 After performing the above steps, follow the steps below to erase the contents and settings from your device:
1️⃣ Go to Settings > General > Reset
2️⃣ Tap Erase All Content and Settings
❗ When you erase your content and settings, Find My iPhone and your device Activation Lock is also turned off.
✅ Your account will be removed from your Apple device and the contents will be erased ready to be returned back to us.
How to remove your iCloud account remotely from the iCloud website 🔐
👇 To remove your iCloud account from the iCloud website, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Switch off your iPhone
2️⃣ Log in to the iCloud website from a PC or laptop using your Apple ID credentials
3️⃣ Click Find My iPhone
4️⃣ Click on the All Devices drop-down menu and select [My device]
5️⃣ Click Remove Account
6️⃣ Click Remove on the confirmation message
❗ When you do this your phone is removed from your Find My iPhone Devices list, and your device Activation Lock is also turned off.

2️⃣ Go to Settings > General > Reset

How to remove your Samsung account from your Samsung device 🔐
👇 To remove your Samsung account from your device, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Go to Settings
2️⃣ Tap Accounts and backup or Clouds and accounts
3️⃣ Then tap Accounts and select the account you'd like to remove
4️⃣ Tap Personal info and then tap More options
5️⃣ Then tap Remove Account then Remove
6️⃣ Enter your Samsung Account password and then tap Done to finalise the removal of your account
👇 After performing the above steps, follow the steps below to erase the contents and settings from your device:
❗ Your personal information cannot be recovered after doing this, so save any personal information you need to your computer before you do it.
1️⃣ From the Home screen, tap Apps
2️⃣ Tap Settings > Backup and reset > Factory data reset
3️⃣ Read the information provided then tap Reset device
4️⃣ If you have a security lock enabled on the device you will be prompted to enter the lock information before proceeding.
5️⃣ Tap Delete all to delete all the information and downloaded applications.
👇 After erasing the content from your device, follow the steps below to remove Find My Mobile from your device:
1️⃣ Tap Settings
2️⃣ Tap Biometrics and security
3️⃣ Tap Find My Mobile
4️⃣ Swipe the slider Off and enter your Samsung account details.
