📦 Sending your Apple device back to us? You'll need to make sure you complete a few simple steps so we can easily process it back at our warehouse.
Please ensure you follow these instructions whether you are returning to cancel your Rental Agreement, or because the device is faulty and it needs repairing or replacing.
Step 1: Back up your data 📲
👇 To backup your data using your Apple device, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Go to Settings.
2️⃣ Tap [Your Name].
3️⃣ Tap iCloud.
4️⃣ Tap iCloud Backup.
5️⃣ If your iCloud backup is not turned on automatically, switch it on. This means that your data will periodically be backed up throughout its use.
6️⃣ To do a manual backup, tap Back Up Now.
✅ Once complete, your data will be backed up.

Step 2: Remove your iCloud account 🔐
👇 To remove your iCloud account from your device running iOS 10.3 or later, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Go to Settings
2️⃣ Tap on [Your Name]
3️⃣ Scroll down and tap Sign Out
4️⃣ Enter your Apple ID password when prompted
5️⃣ Tap Turn Off
❗ When you do this your phone is removed from your Find My iPhone Devices list, and your device Activation Lock is also turned off.
👇 To remove your iCloud account from your device running iOS 10.2 or earlier, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Go to Settings > iCloud > Sign Out
2️⃣ Tap Sign Out again
3️⃣ Then tap Delete from [My Device]
4️⃣ Enter your Apple ID password when prompted
5️⃣ Next go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > Sign Out

Step 3: Erase the contents from your Apple device 📲
👇 After performing removing your iCloud account, follow the instructions below to erase the contents and settings from your device:
1️⃣ Go to Settings > General > Reset
2️⃣ Tap Erase All Content and Settings
❗ When you erase your content and settings, Find My iPhone and your device Activation Lock is also turned off.
✅ Your account will be removed from your Apple device and the contents will be erased.
