As an independent third-party provider, we don't use Apple components when carrying out repairs or refurbishment work. However, the parts we use are tested against genuine Apple components to ensure they perform to the same functional standard.
Why can't you guarantee genuine Apple parts?
Many of the devices available through musicMagpie Rent are refurbished and have previously been owned. As a result, some devices may have undergone repairs before they were purchased by musicMagpie.
This means we can't guarantee the repair history of every device or that all components are genuine Apple parts.
How do you ensure device quality?
Every rental device undergoes our comprehensive testing process before being made available for rent.
As part of this process, devices complete our 70-point quality check to ensure they are fully functional and meet our quality standards.
What if I'm not happy with my device?
If you're unhappy with the device you receive, you can return it to us within your 14-day cooling-off period.
